Through the support of the Department of Agriculture with a counter-parting scheme, the City procured 1 unit of 4-wheel drive tractor, 1 corn picker, 1 hand tractor, 1 multi-purpose mechanical thresher/sheller and 2 pumps and engines and 1 village-type corn post harvest processing facility. The provision of these equipment increased crop production by almost 10% per cropping and decreased the cost of production by 15%. Tractor services have increased by 15% and served a total of 2,624.4 hectares of corn land with 3842farmers.

With the modernization in agricultural mechanization or farm machineries, farmers need not to worry during land preparation, harvesting and post harvesting activities.
