The field days were conducted on February and November 2014 respectively with 140 participants. The Tuguegarao City Demo Farm also served as a learning site in the Production of organic Vegetables. Before the year ended, the office initiated the establishment of Urban gardening at Cataggaman Viejo. The office actively participated in the distribution of 4,000 pouches of assorted vegetable seeds to backyard vegetable growers. It has served all barangays in the City with a total of 2,790 vegetable backyard growers.

Moreover, two mini nurseries on HVCC seedlings production were established at Cataggaman Viejo and Libag Norte that will later benefit 400 backyard vegetable growers. This project aimed to produce healthy and safe vegetable seedlings.

To promote the benefits of vermicomposting, six units of vermicompost facilities were established at six barangays in the city. The provision of 200 bags of ammonium sulfate (21-0-0) was able to correct the nitrogen deficiency of the soil.
