Training on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in Corn was conducted by the office in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture. The training aimed to apply available knowledge to address environmental, economic and social sustainability dimensions for on-farm production and post-production processes, resulting in safe and quality food and non-food agricultural products.

In March 2014, the group headed different provinces in the Central and Southern Luzon to collectively observe the Best Agricultural Practices in corn, rice, vegetable, fruit trees and livestock production. The Grand Field Day in Quirino was also attended by the group which provided the on-field visit of the numerous techno demonstrations of commodities such as corn, rice and vegetables.
